FEES

Our fees

Transparent pricing from a solicitor you can speak to directly. We agree the cost before work starts.

HONEST PRICING

Know the cost beforewe start your case

Anwar Law Solicitors quotes for the work your matter actually needs. You speak to Mr Khan, receive a written figure, and we keep to what we agree — no surprise extras for the same scope of work.

Written quotes first

We confirm our professional fees in writing after an initial consultation, so you can instruct us with a clear number in mind.

Fixed fees where we can

Straightforward family, property and immigration work is usually quoted as a fixed fee, not an open-ended hourly bill.

No hidden surprises

Clients choose us because we are upfront. If the scope changes, we tell you before any extra cost is incurred.

Speak to a solicitor

You deal with the principal solicitor — not a call centre — so the quote reflects your circumstances, not a generic package.

HOW A QUOTE IS BUILT

Simple steps to aclear fee

We do not tick boxes on the phone and send a price. We listen first, then confirm what the work will cost.

Initial consultation

We review your circumstances, explain your options, and tell you whether we can help — including an indication of likely fees and timescales.

A tailored written quote

You receive a clear professional fee for the agreed work, plus an explanation of VAT, court or Home Office fees, and any searches or disbursements.

Work starts on agreed terms

Once you instruct us, we proceed on the quoted scope. Payment options can be discussed if you need to stage fees.

BY PRACTICE AREA

What to expect foreach type of work

Exact figures depend on complexity. The notes below show how we typically charge across the work we do most.

Family law

Divorce, separation, children, money and property, child support and domestic abuse. We quote for advice, drafting and representation according to the issues in your case, and deal with family work confidentially and constructively.

Conveyancing & housing

Buying or selling a home or business. You speak to a qualified property solicitor. Fees reflect the transaction value, tenure and any lease or title issues. Search fees and Stamp Duty Land Tax are charged separately as disbursements.

Commercial leases

Buying or selling a business lease, extensions, surrenders, partnership deeds and partnership disputes. We quote once we have seen the papers, so the fee matches the drafting and negotiation required.

Immigration

Visitor and family visas, leave to remain, settlement, citizenship, appeals, judicial review and human rights applications. Fees reflect the type of application and the evidence required — we take the full background seriously before quoting.

Motoring law

Advice and court representation on speeding, no insurance, mobile phone use, failing to give driver details and related motoring offences. We quote for advice only, or for full representation, depending on what you need.
